Component Engineer
Salary $60,000 to $80,000

The position will evaluate bills of material for new customer orders and assist the organization with component level engineering support. Transfer bills of material into MRP system. Provide engineering, purchasing, and receiving inspection with component substitution support. Maintain master component database. Review customer specified parts to eliminate problems for purchasing. Process engineering changes. Resolve discrepancy reports for component level issues. Assist Purchasing to resolve component level technical issues. Maintain accurate, current revision levels on engineering drawings and parts lists. Enter new Item Masters, Bills of Material (BOM) and Bills of Operations (BOO) as required. Identify irregularities and prepare exception report for appropriate departments (e.g., purchasing, production) and customer review. Provide technical support and interact with Engineers, Buyers, Receiving Inspection, and others.

Required Experience
